Todd Giles

Todd has been a listener and supporter of public radio since his college days in the late 1980s. Before moving to Wichita Falls in 2012 to teach English at Midwestern State University, he worked for seven years as an on-air classical and jazz host in Lubbock, TX, Columbia, MO, and Wichita, KS. He started volunteering at KCCU in 2024 and began hosting Browsing Through the Shelves in May 2026.

Along with his scholarly articles, Todd also writes the program notes for the Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra and essays in support of the Wichita Falls Museum of Art, Special Collections at MSU’s Moffett Library, and occasionally writes for Wichita Falls Living magazine.

When not on the air, in the classroom, or writing, Todd enjoys cruising around Wichita Falls in his 1972 orange and white VW Bus, walking his dog April, and reading poetry and fiction.
