What is Underwriting and How Can It Help You?
Underwriting could be defined simply as advertising on public radio. However, it is better understood as a way for you to make a charitable contribution to KCCU, while also speaking directly to our tens of thousands of weekly listeners. KCCU recognizes your tax-deductible contribution with on-air announcements during the program(s) you wish to sponsor.

FCC Nondiscrimination Clause
KCCU does not discriminate in the sale of underwriting messages and will accept no underwriting that is placed with an intent to discriminate based on race or ethnicity. Underwriters hereby certify that it is not buying broadcasting airtime under this underwriting sales contract for a discriminatory purpose, including but not limited to decisions not to place underwriting on particular stations based on race, national origin, or ancestry.
