Community Focus- 2026 Lawton-Ft. Sill Freedom Fest

This week's Community Focus was with Fort Sill PR team, MWR Marketing Director, Elizabeth Yoast, and Community and Media Relations Chief, Bryan Araujo, to discuss this weekend's upcoming 2026 Freedom Fest.

The event will be from 6 - 10:30 p.m., Saturday, June 27th at the Ft. Sill Polo Field, and attendees are encouraged to enter post through GATE 2, located off Rogers Ln. and I-44, where you will be granted access without needing a pass or Real-ID, any valid Government I.D. will be fine. You will be routed to the designated parking area and shuttles will bring attendees to Polo Field.

They are providing options for Preferred Seating with pre-purchased tickets that are $50 for 12+ years, and $25 for 3-11 years, and can be bought online at sill.armymwr.com and picked up ahead of the event at the MWR office in the Welcome Center. Preferred Seating will give you access to closer parking, the special/preferred seating area, a catered meal ticket featuring a Bar-B-Q spread and access to an exclusive bar for those 21+.

All other guests will have access to open seating on Polo Field and are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets. Only small bags and refillable water bottles will be permitted in, they will have a water station on site for free use.

Families can enjoy FREE picnic activities and games, visit one of the 15 vendors or food trucks for snacks and drinks and of course the great LIVE music from the Country Jamm Band, DJ Hybrid and the 145th Army Band.

A spectacular Fireworks and Drone display will explode overhead at 10 p.m. before guests exit the field and head home.
