This week I was in the studio with Mr. Jeff Hunter, the Chairman of the Board for the newly established Veteran Reinforcements Foundation, a SWOK Non-profit based out of Ardmore.
Hunter explained the foundation is established to ensure no veteran or first responder ever falls through the cracks. Their mission is to help connect service providers and other non-profits that have the necessary resources to those who need it most.
Their inaugural event is coming up this weekend, with the Heroes Fund Run which is a poker-run style ride where all vehicles are welcomed, and anyone who registers and attends has the ability to win door prizes, bid on their amazing auction or receive a trophy for the overall High/Low hands.
All proceeds go back into the foundation to support their mission, and anyone interested in supporting this organization and helping other veterans and first responders can visit:
https://www.veteranreinforcements.org/
or of course, come out to 917 N. Washington St., Ardmore, Ok., at 0900, Sat. Oct 17th and participate in this Fund Run.
