KCCU Presents an original special segment,
Post 9/11: 25 Years of Service & Sacrifice, where we honor the 25 years since the terror attacks on our nation that caused time to stand still for so many.
In this one hour special segment, we hear from the perspectives of veterans and service members who served during and after the events of 9/11 and how it shaped their military experience.
The first interview (@ 6:40) is with Ret. Sergeant First Class David Bublitz, U.S. Army, who shares his experiences of serving on active duty in 2001 when the terror attacks occurred.
The second interview (@22:30) is with Ret. Captain Nick Culbert, U.S. Army, and Devlin Calley, currently active duty as an E4/Specialist and in the Cameron ROTC/U.S. Army Green to Gold program, and he will be commissioned upon completing his degree.
The final interview is with active duty Major Steve Huffman who is a current Asst. Professor of Military Science at Cameron University, and has served for the past 22 years.
Thank you to all of those who have served, and are serving our country, in the military and as first responders. We all appreciate your sacrifices for our freedom.
