A Nasty Fever Called Chikungunya Hits Close To Home
After being a problem in Africa and southern Asia for decades, chikungunya has made its way to the Caribbean. The mosquito-borne illness attacks the joints, causes fever, headaches and arthritis symptoms. There are no vaccines and treatments for the virus.

Twitter Critics Say It's Not Sensitive Enough To Cyberbullying
Twitter on Thursday changed its blocking policy, then changed it back. Users were outraged that the initial switch allowed stalkers and abusers open access to their posts. Some say the incident shows that Twitter isn't listening to women and cyberbullying victims on the site.

Student Opens Fire At Colo. High School, Wounds 2, Kills Self
A student armed with a shotgun opened fire at a Colorado high school, Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson said Friday. Police said the shooter injured two fellow students at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colo., before killing himself.
States Settle Into Wooing War With Bids For Boeing Plane Plant
"Pick me!" That's what Boeing is hearing this week from the Carolinas, Missouri, California and about a dozen other places. They're submitting bids to build Boeing's new 777X airplanes and get thousands of new jobs in the process.
