Whimsical Idea Expands To Chinese Food Mission
In the 70s, David Chan and his co-workers decided to try every Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood. Now, the 64 year old Los Angeles attorney has visited more than 6,000 Chinese eateries around the world. The Los Angeles Times says he once hit 300 restaurants in a single year.

Need A Career? Try Making Gelato
Gelato University in Bologna, Italy, teaches students the art of making Gelato — Italy's creamier version of ice cream. The week-long course costs about $1,200 but it comes with a $1,200 coupon toward the purchase of a gelato maker. The school has more than 6,000 students a year.
