Nelson Grimmett

Nelson Grimmett, our recently welcomed addition to the KCCU family, assumes the role of Administrative Assistant. Hailing from West Virginia, Nelson embarked on a commendable journey by joining the United States Army at the age of 22, where he served as a Unit Supply Specialist (92Y). Following his military tenure, Nelson dedicated two decades to various roles within the federal government.

With a wealth of experience spanning finance, accounting, budgeting, resource planning, management, information and personnel security, logistics, and office administration, Nelson brings a robust skill set to our team. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he is an ordained minister affiliated with the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ (ALJC), boasting over 25 years of delivering the Gospel. Since 2017, Nelson has also served as the senior pastor of Great Plains Apostolic Church in Lawton.

In addition to his multifaceted career, Nelson is a successful writer with published works available on Amazon.com. Beyond his literary pursuits, he is a dedicated reader, a coffee enthusiast, and an avid dog lover. Known for his approachable demeanor, Nelson is undoubtedly one of the most personable individuals you will encounter. Happily married to Amber, he is the proud parent of two children, Elisabeth and Ethan.
