Community Focus-ARTS FOR ALL

Amanda Purser and Ronda Norrell in the KCCU studio, May 2026.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Arts For All Festival Chair — Ronda Norrell this week in the KCCU studio. We discussed the 52nd Annual ARTS FOR ALL Festival coming up this weekend, (Fri.) May 8th, (Sat.) May 9th and (Sun.) May 10th in Shepler Park.

The park is located in downtown Lawton off Gore Blvd, between 4th and 5th street, near the Farmer's Market building.

The festival will showcase more than 60 vendors of artists from near and far with a variety of mediums on display for your admiration. Be sure to pick up something special to purchase for your home or maybe as a gift for Mother's day?

There will also be live entertainment all weekend, featuring local performers of all ages. You can find a dedicated Kid Zone for the littles to play and do hands-on activities and crafts. Check out the Beer and Wine Garden for a relaxing adult atmosphere.

This year will feature a gallery dedicated to local artists like Robert Peterson, who have limited opportunities for purchasing their work, so this is a great time to add to your collection!

Plus, there will be tons of food trucks and delicious eats to savor, so this is a FREE event that you don't want to miss!

Go visit with your neighbors and soak up the enriching environment made possible by the hard work and dedication of the Arts For All non-profit and the hundreds of volunteers who sacrifice their time to making this weekend enjoyable for everyone!
— THANK YOU ALL!

We hope to see you there this weekend, be sure to stop by the KCCU booth to say "hi" and let us know that you are a listener or member, we appreciate your support!
