(SOUNDBITE OF MUSIC)

INSKEEP: At Citigroup's annual meeting Tuesday, 55 percent of shareholders voted against big paychecks for the firms top executives. The majority vote, while not binding, is being called by analysts historic. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
