Independence day is drawing near and the city of Lawton is gearing up for the annual Freedom Festival in Elmer Thomas Park.
There will be a free Juneteenth celebration tomorrow at the George M Lee Park located in south Lawton. The celebration is open to the community and will have free food and snow cones for the kids as well as a three on three basketball tournament with a cash prize.
