Dallas, TX – Bishop T.D. Jakes says it's time for Americans to look and pray beyond their borders.
The superstar minister and pastor of a Dallas megachurch, The Potter's House, says he's taking a major step in that direction with a revival meeting in South Africa this weekend.
In an interview Thursday in Johannesburg, Jakes said the current global economic crisis shows how connected Americans are to the rest of the world. Jakes brings his Megafest to Johannesburg this weekend.
It will be the first time Jakes has taken the event outside the United States. The meeting includes a religious revival, a self-help fair and a gospel concert.
