S.W. Oklahoma Advanced Technology Meeting Tues.

Lawton, Ok. – The Southwest Oklahoma Advanced Technology Association will be meeting on Tuesday, November 12, at noon in Cameron University's Shepler Center. The topic for the meeting is attracting more high technology business and expanding its existing base in the area. It is a luncheon meeting with reservations for lunch due by 5 p.m. November 8, although the session is open to the public without the lunch and for more information call 580-581-2999.
The public is invited to listen to speakers and give ideas concerning expanding the base of high technology business in Southwest Oklahoma. Speakers include the new association president, Toney Stricklin, the retired general and former commander of Ft. Sill now with Telos OK, and Professor of Meteorology Dr. Kelvin Droegemeier of the University of Oklahoma. Droegemeier will discuss the partnership between federal, state and local entities on Norman's new weather study center project.
