KCCU STAFF AND COVID-19

Communications workers, such as: "Workers who support radio, television, and media service, including, but not limited to front line news reporters, studio, and technicians for newsgathering and reporting" are classified as Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce* by the US Department of Homeland Security-Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Securuty Agency or CISA.

In other words, the staff of your public radio station is at work ensuring the programs you expect to hear are on the air.

Our front desk is staffed from 8 a.m. till noon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. An answering service is answering calls during our absence. If you need to reach us, call 888-454-7800 or reach out on social media.

We are working alternating shifts and practicing social distancing. We also wash our hands, frequently. 

As employees of Cameron University, we adhere to the guidance provided by our employer which is located here.

Doug Cole joined KCCU-FM in April, 2007 as Station Manager and Operations Director. In November 2012, Doug accepted the title of Interim General Manager. Doug became Director of Broadcasting, effective July 1, 2013. Prior to moving to Lawton, Doug was the General Manager of KOCV-FM, Odessa College, in Odessa Texas.
