Cameron University Commencement Features Henry

Lawton, Ok. – When May arrives, graduation plans are almost complete on the Cameron University campus. C.U.'s candidates for degrees will be dressed in their caps and gowns on Saturday, May 10, to march across the stage at the stadium, with Governor Brad Henry giving the address. Henry became Oklahoma's 26th governor, the youngest in state history at age 39, on January 13, 2003.
The ceremony is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. but should the weather not cooperate, two separate commencement ceremonies will take place. They will be moved to the Great Plains Coliseum, 920 South Sheridan Road, at 10:00 a.m. for those with blue cards, and at 2:00 p.m. for those with yellow cards. Candidates are requested to be at the appropriate site no later than half an hour prior to the starting time.
KCCU Radio at 89.3 and 102.9 FM will make any necessary announcements about changes in the original ceremony plans if they are not taking place at the stadium due to inclement weather.
