The KCCU-89.3FM transmitter in Lawton is currently experiencing air conditioning woes. Once the building gets too hot, the transmitter shuts itself down automatically due to excessive heat.
The building was cooled by two units. As luck would have it, both units have issues, The main AC unit has failed and the back-up unit is also in the process of failing.
KCCU and our license holder Cameron University are aware of the problem and steps are being taken to secure two new air conditioning units.
