A brewery and creamery teamed up to make blue cheese beer

MICHEL MARTIN, HOST:

Good morning. I'm Michel Martin. You've heard of beer cheese, but what about blue-cheese beer? A brewery in Oregon, Crux Fermentation Project, teamed up with Rogue Creamery to take on the challenge. Blue cheese gets added to beer wort, and the concoction is then aged in oak barrels for nearly two years. A spokesperson for the cheesemaker assures skeptics the beer's cheesy flavor is not too strong, But I think we all know the real question - does it go with buffalo wings?
