Underwriting is a term defining advertising on public radio. KCCU highlights two or three underwriters every hour with a 30 second announcement. Underwriters are normally placed in rotation. Certain specific times or programs can be sponsored at a higher price level. Only one underwriter airs in each break giving you, the advertiser, an exclusive position not available on commercial radio stations. Your business stands out!
